How you make a difference
- As part of a DevOps team, you are responsible for developing and maintaining an AWS-based data infrastructure and pipelines.
- You design, implement and optimize Spark ETL to ensure efficient data processing and you support the gradual operationalization of machine learning models in the long term.
- You work closely with data owners and data analysts to develop and maintain robust and reliable data pipelines.
- You analyse requirements, design data products and implement them in our big data stack.
- Through process automation, you ensure trouble-free operation and continuously improve our development stack.
- In close cooperation with business stakeholders and the architecture team, you specifically align technical solutions with business needs.
What you have to offer
- For this role, you have a university degree in IT or equivalent professional experience, as well as extensive specialist knowledge in data processing with Apache Spark, SQL and Python.
- Ideally, you have experience in software development (Scala, Java) and AWS analytics services (Glue, SageMaker, Athena, Lambda, Batch).
- You are interested in CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and DevOps best practices.
- You thrive in an agile work environment and have a growth-oriented mindset.
- You have a good written and spoken command of German or French and good proficiency in English.

We offer a fair salary of between CHF 117'000 - 132'000 per year (100% employment level), depending on experience and skills. Talented people with different skills are also welcome to apply. In such cases your salary may be slightly below or above the range
