HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT

As a Technical Project Manager, you will oversee the design, development, and integration of our advanced CBTC (Communications-Based Train Control) system. In this role, you will ensure that our signaling systems meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance while also satisfying customer requirements and industry regulations. You will also be responsible for leading the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of the full system integration lifecycle-including transition, migration, testing, validation, and system acceptance activities. This role provides overarching leadership across the integration of retained legacy systems with the new Stadler NOVA PRO CBTC technology.

Key Activities
• Supervise the planning and execution of signaling projects from inception to completion.
• Create project schedules, manage budgets, and ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and fulfilled.
• Serve as the intermediary between project teams and senior management to maintain communication and alignment.
• Implement customer specifications in accordance with industry standards, regulations, and national requirements.
• Responsible for conceptualizing and preparing technical specifications, production documents, test plans, type tests, and training materials.
• Manage the project team, including systems engineers based in the US and Europe.
• Participate in design reviews, safety assessments, and quality assurance activities, providing systems engineering expertise and guidance.
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate project teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (mechanical or electrical) or related field with a focus on rail signaling systems
• 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on technical signaling projects in the railway industry
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering with a strong track record of delivering complex rail signaling projects.
• In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
• Collaborative team member with excellent interpersonal skills, a strong sense of
responsibility, and assertiveness.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and proactive approach.
• Organized, goal-driven, dynamic, and loyal personality.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements, such as CENELEC and IEEE standards.
