Stadler has recently decided to expand its power converter factory. The facility will supply converters to Stadler's production sites worldwide, as well as to external customers.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analysis of product cost structures, including material, logistics, manufacturing and testing, focusing on electronics and electrical modules.
  • Develop and maintain the Cost Element Structure. Identify everything in the cost scope.
  • Collect and monitor data. Collect and monitor data, manage risks, identify contingency plans if necessary, control changes and communication.
  • Develop cost estimating relationships. Use cost data to create formulas and equations that are entered into the cost model.
  • Follow the estimating life cycle in accordance with prescribed standards and procedures.
  • Critically examine the selection of materials and components and propose alternatives.
  • Examine and/or revise manufacturing and logistics processes, procedures and work instructions.
  • Create and put in place the rules for recording and reporting costs.
  • Measure and report on progress regularly.

OUR REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in cost engineering, cost estimating, planning, scheduling and other areas of project controls in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of electromechanical systems. Familiarity with power electronics is advantageous.
  • Advanced level of proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office programs.
  • Knowledge of and experience with ERP systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues and business partners.
  • English level C1/C2.
