What We Will Offer You In Return:

• Starting salary of £30,879 increasing following a successful probation period.
• Base location at Norwich Crown Point Depot

Role Overview:

As a Materials Handler, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials throughout our operation. Reporting directly to the Stores Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of our depot activity - supporting engineering teams, maintaining accurate stock records, and ensuring materials are always where they need to be.
You'll thrive in a fast paced stores environment, handling, moving, and organising a wide range of parts while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify the quantity and quality of all incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Process all incoming and outgoing consignments with correct documentation and timely system updates.
• Raise shipping requests and ensure accurate, on time dispatch.
• Manage parts through internal and external repair supply chains, maintaining full traceability.
• Label, store, and organise materials to maintain a safe, efficient warehouse environment.
• Accurately pick, issue, and locate materials for work orders.
• Maintain up to date stock records and support daily stock taking activities.
• Manage returns, complete required documentation, and liaise with relevant teams.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate purchasing needs to ensure availability.
• Investigate missing or delayed packages, working with internal departments to resolve issues

Experience:

• Certified forklift operation.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment and handling systems.
• Strong computer skills, including data entry and inventory systems.
• High numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Proactive problem solving approach.

Experience

• Physically fit to safely carry out the manual handling requirements of the role.
• Previous warehouse, logistics, or materials handling experience is desirable
