HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT
As a System Integration & Migration Manager, you will be responsible for leading the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of the full system integration lifecycle-including transition, migration, testing, validation, and system acceptance activities. This role provides overarching leadership across the integration of retained legacy systems with the new Stadler NOVA PRO CBTC and SCADA technology, ensuring safety, performance, and operational continuity throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and oversee the end-to-end integration, migration, and verification strategy across all systems, ensuring alignment with contractual and safety-critical requirements.
• Lead the phased migration strategy of mainline, yard, test track, control center, and rolling stock changeovers, minimizing service disruption and ensuring continuity of operations.
• Govern system verification and acceptance testing (VAT), including FAT, SAT, integration testing, and validation against requirements.
• Manage a multidisciplinary leadership team including Systems Engineering Manager, and Operational Integration Manager, and coordinate their alignment with schedule, technical scope, and acceptance milestones.
• Serve as the principal technical interface with the system engineering team, safety and assurance leads, and operational stakeholders to ensure effective transition planning, requirements traceability, and acceptance readiness.
• Coordinate the development of interface control documents (ICDs), migration readiness checklists, and test playbooks, and manage baseline changes related to configuration and design.
• Support system acceptance by managing documentation and evidence submission, including compliance matrices, validation reports, risk mitigation plans, and operational readiness reports.
• Oversee the development of training strategies and transition support plans in collaboration with operator agencies ensuring staff are fully prepared for operational takeover.
• Lead post-migration stabilization planning and support coordination ensuring system reliability and performance after commissioning.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field• Strong project management skills and a clear understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• 5- 10 years of experience in complex system migrations within rail or transit environments
• Solid understanding of the technical and operational complexities of transitioning to CBTC and SCADA systems
