HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Participation in diagnosing and troubleshooting faults, performing repairs on rail vehicles (in the field of electrical engineering, automation, and/or mechanics)
  • Participation in preventive inspections, maintenance and repair work on rolling stock based on the system documentation
  • Supervision and on-going planning of work of the Warranty team, as well as ensuring the development and motivation of employees in accordance with the guidelines and directions from the Warranty Coordinator, Project Management
  • Supervision of the stock of spare parts as well as deliveries and shipments
  • Preparing reports from the maintenance and service work performed
  • Leading communication with external suppliers and other departments within the organization regarding troubleshooting and product optimization
  • Always following safety protocols and regulations

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

  • Knowledge of and experience in the area of mechanics and/or automatics and electrical power technology
  • Ability to read electrical diagrams, technical drawings and documentation
  • General knowledge of electrical engineering and mechanics
  • Independent, proactive, goal-oriented and structured working methods and at the same time a team player with high quality standards
  • Permission to operate, supervise and measure electrical equipment at a voltage over 1kV
  • Fluent in Finnish (full working proficiency) and English
  • Willingness to travel abroad for the purpose of training and attending meetings
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional departments

The location for the position is the maintenance depot in Ilmala, Helsinki. Join our team at Stadler Service Finland Oy. We are part of the Service Division and have locations in Helsinki, Tampere, Oulu and Pieksämäki.
