Your tasks
As an HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing HR support and guidance to employees and management working closely to understand the business needs and objectives.
Essential Functions
• Develop and implement HR strategies and programs to support the business unit
• Provide coaching and guidance to managers on HR-related issues, including performance management, employee relations, talent development and compensation
• Manage employee relations issues, including conducting investigations and implementing corrective action
• Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement company-wide HR initiatives and programs
• Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures
• Analyze data and provide insights and recommendations to business leaders on HR-related issues
• Administer employee benefits including deduction audits, processing invoices, escalating claim issues and open enrollment.
• Administer leaves of absence (i.e. FMLA, short-term and long-term disability and unpaid leave of absence)
• Administer workers compensation reporting and benefits
• Prepare annual reports including EEO-1
Your profile
Work Experience• Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on business partnering
• Strong understanding of HR laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and effectively influence business leaders
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification, preferred
