Accounts Payable Accountant (f/m/d)

As an Accounts Payable Accountant you and your team handle all accounts payable on a day-to-day basis. As someone who likes to take responsibility, you will have the chance to grow and leave your footprint in our Finance team.

• You prepare and manage German and international invoices on a day-to-day basis
• You handle German VAT as well as EU-VAT rules and are able to apply them correctly, also on complex cases
• You process vendor account reconciliation and settlements
• You manage the payment run including workflow consolidation and reminders
• You communicate with suppliers, internal departments and Finance colleagues
• You handle travel expenses, post bank statements and process confirmation letters
• Ideally you can temporarily support the AR accountants when needed

The best qualifications for this position are:

• Experience in accounting and knowledge of European VAT
• Proactive personality with hands on mentality
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong sense of responsibility within your designated job area
• Good user knowledge in MS Excel
• Preferably experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365
• Proficiency in English and ideally also in German
