- Provide essential support to our clients in strategic acquisitions or disposals, delivering due diligence services
- Obtain, compile and analyze financial, commercial and operational data of target companies for key deal metrics such as sustainable revenues and earnings, adjusted net assets and future cash flows
- Identify key value drivers utilizing MS Excel and cutting-edge data analytics tools
- Prepare high-quality client presentations and actively engage in targeting activities
- Perform industry research and market analysis, contributing to KPMG publications
- Quickly assume responsibility in a demanding environment and interact with a variety of internal and external stakeholders

(Senior) Consultant - Deal Advisory Financial Services
As part of our successful Deal Advisory Financial Services team, your primary role will be the execution of Due Diligence projects but also support on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) mandates. In this function, you will support national and international clients in complex transactions with the aim of analyzing and assessing opportunities and risks in connection with transactions and drawing relevant conclusions. You will work in a fast-paced environment, with a wide variety of people at KPMG and our clients.

- Successfully completed a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Banking and Finance, or Economics (ideally with specialization in accounting or corporate finance)
- Initial practical experience in transaction services, M&A or auditing
- Analytical style of work, advanced problem-solving skills and affinity for explaining complex topics in a simple and understandable way
- Willingness to do high-quality work, desire to take on responsibility and work in interdisciplinary teams
- Motivated, reliable, diligent and resilient team player with fluency in German and an excellent command of English
- Good knowledge in MS Office
