The Social Transitions Research Group (STR) of the Department of Social Sciences researches social innovations for sustainable change at the intersection of technology, governance, and business. The group strives to teach, research, and consult on sustainability that is theoretically and methodologically sound, culture-sensitive and context-specific, as well as relevant for practice. STR focuses on “positive innovation cases” in the areas of food and/or communities, where sustainable change will be studied as models for rethinking concepts, theories, and practice.
To promote the development of this research focus, STR is looking for an assistant at the post-doc level from 1 February 2025. The position is limited to 6 years (2 + 4 years).
