HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT

• Lead the technical and commercial management of complex ETCS onboard system integration projects and programs.
• Manage projects throughout their full lifecycle, from Sales handover to the end of the warranty period.
• Ensure achievement of project objectives relating to schedule, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Define execution strategies and coordinate all project activities to ensure successful delivery.
• Manage customers, suppliers, partners, and internal stakeholders, building strong and trusted relationships.
• Proactively manage risks, opportunities, changes, and project dependencies.
• Monitor and control project financial performance, including forecasting, costs, revenues, and profitability.
• Ensure contractual compliance and provide accurate and timely project reporting.

• Lead, motivate, and develop cross-functional project teams, fostering effective collaboration and a strong team culture.

• Coach and mentor project managers and new team members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement of project management methodologies, tools, governance, and ways of working.
• Contribute to the development and maturity of the project management organization, shaping standards, processes, and operational excellence.
• Support strategic business objectives by improving overall project and organizational performance.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

• University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or similar).
• Extensive experience in project or program management within complex engineering or railway environments.
• Proven track record in delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Strong knowledge of railway standards and regulations (e.g., TSI CCS, UNISIG, CENELEC).
• Experience with ETCS onboard systems and railway signaling is a strong advantage.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to coach and mentor project managers and drive knowledge sharing and best practices.
• Strategic, structured, and results-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and organizational development.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Fluent in English; German and additional languages are an asset.
• Willingness to travel (10-25%).
