Your tasks

• Drawing the electrical schematic sets and wiring documents according to DIN EN 15380 with the E3 program
• Conceptual design and layout of cable routes, separation points and connector concepts
• Close collaboration with other disciplines (electrical installation planning, electrical engineering)
• Preparation and control of production documentation (terminal diagrams, parts lists, wiring tables, wiring harness drawings, bill of materials)
• Maintenance and extension of the E3 article database
• Support the control cabinet pre-assembly and the final assembly on the vehicles
• Change management of production documents

Your profile

• BSEE or Electronic Engineering Technician (EET) degree from an accredited (ABET or similar) institution
• 0-2 (I), 2-5 (II), 5-8 (III), 8-10 (IV) or 10+ (Sr.) years of relevant experience in schematic drawing for control cabinets, rail vehicles, aircraft, or trucks.
• Experience with schematic software (e.g. E3 or Ruplan)
• Experience with PLM systems and ECN systems (e.g. SmarTeam)
• Experience in electrical / mechanical CAD design (e.g. Catia V5) is a plus
• Team player with a high sense of responsibility and initiative
• High degree of social competence, accuracy and adherence to deadlines in an international environment
• Business fluent in English; basic German language skills desirable
• Willingness to travel to Europe for training
