HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Assist in Jig Installation and Maintenance
  • Perform mechanical installation and testing of jigs and fixtures.
  • Ensure jigs are installed correctly and efficiently, adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and manage spare parts for tools and jigs.
  • Process Improvement
  • Collaborate with production engineers to identify, design, and implement process improvements.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and the design process from a mechanical/operator perspective.
  • Develop and optimize production-friendly technical instructions, production flow, and assembly methods.
  • Problem Identification and Resolution
  • Anticipate potential issues in the production process and take proactive steps to mitigate them.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and technical problems related to jig installation and production operations.
  • Supplier and Procurement Coordination
  • Assist in finding suppliers and obtaining quotes for jigs and materials.
  • Manage internal orders and follow up with procurement until delivery.
  • Quality Assurance and Documentation
  • Conduct inspections and tests to ensure jigs and fixtures meet design specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, materials records, validations, test reports, and technical reports when necessary.
  • Review production drawings to ensure proper manufacturing and implement drawing revisions in the workshop.
  • Technical Support
  • Provide technical support to production teams, addressing mechanical and operational issues promptly.
  • Assist in training production staff on the correct use and maintenance of jigs and fixtures.
  • Project and Continuous Improvement:
  • Support project timelines and milestones, ensuring completion on time.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Steer the organization toward lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste in all forms.
  • Supplier Manual and Work Instruction Development
  • Conduct in-depth reads on supplier manuals to extract useful information for the workshop.
  • Convert supplier information into work instructions, processes, and guidelines.
  • Support Company Goals and Objectives
  • Align with company goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Contribute to long-term vision on facility expansion, team development, and enhancing core competencies.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

  • Associate's degree in engineering field
  • 1-3 years of experience within a manufacturing environment. Engineering related is preferred.
  • Proficiency in mechanical and manufacturing processes, with capability to interpret technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical skills with proactive mindset to identify/resolve production related issues.
  • Teamwork and communication abilities to effectively collaborate with the team daily tasks.
  • Basic understanding of quality standard and practices related to manufacturing.
  • CAD Software is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Office Suite is required (Word, Excel, etc...)
