- Managing of a mid-sized high-performance team that gathers information on and analyses cyber threats
- Identifying and following up on significant information relating to ongoing attack campaigns
- Advancing the development of new methods to recognise cyber activities at global level
- Providing service users with high-quality intelligence products (e.g. technical analyses, reports) on cyber activities; these products should ensure quality and warn the relevant bodies regarding particular incidents
- Planning and leading the team's response to situations with a high risk of incidents
- Sharing your own knowledge and experience through talks and training sessions
This makes you unique
- Master's degree (university, university of applied sciences (UAS), federal institute of technology (FIT)) in cyber security, information technology or a related field and proven leadership experience in a sensitive security-related field are preferred
- Actionable knowledge of technologies related to big data processing and data analysis (e.g. Elasticsearch, MISP, STIX2)
- Goal- and results-oriented leadership style and confidence working with sensitive data subject to strict legal requirements
- Ability to find constructive ways to develop and advance cooperation with partners and service users
- Active knowledge of a second official language and very good knowledge of English

The Armed Forces Cyber Command (AFCC) provides cyber and digitalisation expertise. We combine a passion for our work with specialist knowledge, innovation, state-of-the-art technology and agile working methods to provide secure, robust and resilient IT services to the Swiss Armed Forces and our partners in the Swiss Security Network. This gives the Swiss Armed Forces the knowledge and decision-making edge it needs – for a secure Switzerland.
The Swiss Armed Forces employ over 9,000 people in four military and around 200 civilian professions, at 140 locations throughout Switzerland. The Armed Forces are also providing for the next generation by training apprentices in more than 30 professions.
