Solution Architect Logistics Services

Would you like to support and actively help shape the digital transformation in the logistics environment at a world-leading postal service? Are complex and distributed systems, solution and software architecture and cloud transformation familiar to you? Do you show initiative, are you willing to learn and are you open to new things? If so, we should get to know each other, because you help us drive forward the digital transformation of logistics.
As a key employee, you design future-oriented solutions in the Logistics Services Transport unit in close cooperation with our specialist units, our distributed software development teams and the enterprise architecture.
How you make a difference
- Numerous exciting projects relating to our professional and technological transformation are waiting for you to bring them to fruition.
- You actively shape the upgrade of consignment data core functionalities and design technical upgrades and modernizations of our national and regional transport management ecosystem.
- You use your technical expertise in an environment of cuttingedge technologies such as Kubernetes, Container and Kafka in the cloud.
- With your passion for design, communication skills and team spirit, you implement exciting upgrades and modernizations for Logistics Services alongside the DevOps teams.
- You integrate applications, partner systems and platforms into our IT landscape in a sustainable, high-performance and reliable manner.
- You assume a key role in planning and designing solution architectures, drive forward implementation ideas and take quality, security and economic aspects into account, as well as future development trends.
- As part of a committed team of architects, you play a significant part in shaping strategic orientation and the reference architecture, guidelines and toolchain.
What you have to offer
- Your training in informatics (BSc, MSc or similar) helps you to familiarize yourself quickly with your varied fields of activity.
- You have experience in the design and implementation of software systems and interfaces.
- You have extensive knowledge of software development and understand the concepts of service- and event-oriented architectures, ideally in the Java and/or .NET environment.
- You use your analytical and abstracting skills to help the technical experts to implement innovative solutions.
- You have hands-on experience in cloud technologies, API design, messaging, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery and architecture documentation.
- You enjoy agile working methods (Scrum, SAFe, DevOps) and have exceptional empathy, thirst for knowledge and ability to handle criticism.
- You have a good command of English and German.

We offer a fair salary of between CHF 120'000 bis 140'000 per year (100% employment level), depending on experience and skills. Talented people with different skills are also welcome to apply. In such cases your salary may be slightly below or above the range
