HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Own the technical investigation of ETCS and Class B system incidents.
  • Drive root cause analysis of signalling system failures and operational events.
  • Manage technical interfaces with ETCS suppliers regarding issue resolution and product performance.
  • Lead operational analysis and testing activities required to resolve system issues.
  • Monitor system performance and identify recurring failure trends.
  • Support the continuous improvement of ETCS and Class B solutions throughout their operational lifecycle.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Railway Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
  • Alternatively, strong relevant professional experience in railway signalling, ETCS, testing, commissioning, or technical troubleshooting.
  • ETCS system knowledge, including architecture, interfaces, and operational behaviour are mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Class B train protection systems.
  • Railway signalling and system integration experience.
  • Technical investigation and root cause analysis skills.
  • Diagnostic data and log analysis capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Reliable and objective approach to technical investigations.
  • Very good English skills and German at least B2-level
