The Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics of the University of Zurich invites applications for an
Associate/Full Professorship in Information Systems in Organizations
starting in (fall) 2026. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, and have an excellent record of academic achievements in the relevant field as well as strong teaching skills both at the undergraduate and the graduate levels.
The successful candidate isexpected to conduct research in any of (but not limited to) the following broard areas:
- Process Science,
- Platforms, and Platform Ecosystems
- ERP-Systems,
- Decision Support Systems,
- Enterprise Architectures
These topics should be covered in the light of new technologies (AI, GenAI) and with a solid background in Computer Science. We expect candidates to be able to conduct design-oriented research that results in technical and socio-technical artifacts.
The performance evaluation will be undertaken in line with DORA and the Open Science Policy of the University of Zurich.
