HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT
- Issue and receive tools, and equipment to/from production personnel
- Maintain accurate records of tool usage and inventory using manual logs or digital systems
- Inspect tools for wear or damage and coordinate repairs or replacements
- Basic calibration of tools
- Coordinate with other TSAs to issue, manage, and stock uniform inventory
- Organize and maintain the tool crib or tool room in a clean and orderly manner
- Assist in periodic inventory counts and audits
- Label, store, and track tools using barcoding or RFID systems (if applicable)
- Communicate with production and maintenance teams to ensure tool availability
- Follow safety protocols and ensure tools are stored and handled safely
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to tool management
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
- 0-1 experience in a manufacturing or tool room environment preferred.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipment.
- Ability to use Microsoft office suite.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
