What you do here

The Marketing Business Analytics (MBA) Intern plays a key role within the Global Travel Retail (GTR) Category & Revenue Growth Management (RGM) team, based at the headquarters in Kilchberg. As part of our global structure, the MBA Intern is responsible for the efficient and effective execution of central operational tasks across multiple regions and owns the global RSP database and related processes.

We are looking for a hands-on individual with a strong background in business and market analytics, sharp analytical thinking skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing environments.
During this internship, you will work closely with the Revenue Growth Manager, the Category Manager, and the Head of Marketing in Kilchberg, while also supporting Regional Sales Managers around the world. You will gain valuable insights into external performance analysis, reporting, data management, and global pricing initiatives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Market & Business Analysis
  • Support the generation and analysis of monthly sell-out performance reports
  • Develop insights and formulate actionable recommendations
  • Prepare presentations and participate in quarterly performance review meetings across various geographical regions

Data Management
  • Own and manage the global data collection and harmonization processes (including RSP, promotions, and sell-out data)
  • Coordinate with external data agencies to ensure timely and accurate data delivery
  • Build and maintain robust databases
  • Ensure consistently high data quality across all processes

Pricing & Promotion
  • Manage the global RSP database and establish standardized analyses of changes, tracking, and comparisons with domestic markets and competitors
  • Build understanding of foreign exchange (FX) impacts within the global business environment
  • Analyze promotional mechanisms to identify growth opportunities and white spaces
  • Evaluate the profitability and efficiency of promotional activities
  • Support the development of global pricing and promotion strategy

Project support for improvement of reporting and data collection as well as ad-hoc analysis on different topics (category developments, sell-out, pricing, promotions, trade terms & condition, product mix)
