Solution Architect IT Service Management

Are you familiar with terms such as IT service management, ServiceNow, system integrations and automation in a DevOps environment? If so, we should get to know each other, because you help us actively shape Swiss Post's digital transformation.

In your position as Solution Architect for the IT Service Center, you work in the Architecture team and develop future-oriented Swiss Post solutions in close cooperation with customer projects, external partners, enterprise architecture and our IT Service Center teams.

How you make a difference

  • Many projects await you on this journey of technological transformation, which you will be able to advise on and support.
  • Your work involves setting up and developing the IT service management platform (ServiceNow) and ensuring its smooth integration into Swiss Post's system landscape. 
  • You are responsible for designing the IT Service Center's IT architecture and for the practical implementation of the projects and initiatives that emerge.
  • You work with external partners to implement specific projects and initiatives in the ITSM environment in accordance with the internal architecture specifications.
  • As an enthusiastic team player and a technically skilled individual, you contribute to the sustainable, high-performance and reliable integration of technologies, platforms and partner systems and services into our IT landscape.
  • As part of a cohesive team of architects, you are involved in the strategic direction and play a key role in shaping reference architectures, guidelines and the further development of the IT Service Center's basic infrastructure.

What you have to offer

  • Your strong technical IT background (Bachelor's or Master's degree or comparable professional experience) forms the basis for this exciting challenge.
  • You can write JavaScript code, have excellent knowledge of current interface technologies and can independently implement system integrations in a corporate IT environment.
  • Your experience of working with ServiceNow in large organizations and, ideally, on large-scale ServiceNow projects provides you with a solid knowledge base in this area.
  • Your ability to develop concrete solutions and present them convincingly to large teams makes you an essential part of our team.
  • You are familiar with the challenges of an up-to-date and correct Configuration Management Database and a specialist and technically coherent Common Service Data Model, and you are enthusiastic about solving theses challenges.
  • The ability to work in a team and an interest in continuous development are second nature to you and help you keep up to date with the latest technology.
  • You also have an excellent command of German and English.

We offer you attractive and fair remuneration ranging from CHF 128'400 to CHF 143'400 per year (on a full-time basis), depending on experience, qualifications and areas of responsibility. You also benefit from a variable salary component as well as comprehensive social security benefits and other discounts. Talented people with different skills are also welcome to apply. In such cases your salary may be slightly below or above the range.
