Your job

Develop, implement and manage applications in the energy sector, with a particular focus on trading and scheduling tools
Support the integration of internal systems, databases and external services (APIs, market data sources)
Work closely with the trading department to understand the company's needs and challenges, proposing innovative solutions based on your technical expertise
Collaborate with developers and analysts to ensure the smooth operation of applications and their integration with existing systems
Test, debug and maintain applications to ensure quality and reliability
Monitor and optimise application performance, resolving any issues or inefficiencies

Your profile

Degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field
Good programming skills (university level or, preferably, brief work experience) in programming languages; Python mandatory, C# preferred
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
Ability to perform structured work in a complex and dynamic environment, both in a team and individually
Knowledge of relational databases; experience with MS SQL Server is preferred
Basic knowledge of energy markets (or financial markets) and trading applications is preferred
Knowledge of system design (Windows Server operating system, application servers, networks, security)
Fluency in Italian and English is required, German constitutes a preferential qualification
