We, the Laboratory for Experimental Nephrology at the Department for BioMedical Research and the University Clinic of Nephrology and Hypertension at Bern University Hospital, University of Bern, Switzerland, are seeking a motivated and talented Post-Doc to join our team and contribute to cutting-edge research in the field of acute and chronic kidney disease.

Chronic kidney disease affects approximately one-tenth of the world's population, often without noticeable symptoms until later stages. Our research focuses on tackling this silent epidemic through three key areas:

Requirements
  • PhD in a relevant field (e.g., biomedical sciences, nephrology, physiology)
  • Strong background in biochemical research methodologies, data analysis; experience in animal experimentation a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Previous experience in kidney disease research is desirable, but not essential
