Your position
You will conduct outstanding research in the fields of clinical psychology and psychotherapy, with a particular focus on digital intervention approaches for children, adolescents, and/or adults. In particular, you will research and develop innovative approaches to the use of digital technologies in psychotherapeutic care, such as smartphone-based applications, the use of artificial intelligence, or virtual reality, in the context of psychotherapeutic procedures. Research into such approaches is carried out, among other aspects, with a view to their effectiveness, acceptance, and integration into the wider healthcare system. Through your research, you will establish an evidence-based foundation for modern, high-quality psychotherapy and contribute to the development of low-threshold, scalable, and personalized services. Interdisciplinary links within the faculty and the university are encouraged. You will make a significant contribution to raising the profile of the faculty's key research areas through your research, publications, and the acquisition of third-party funding.
You will offer eight semester hours of teaching per week on the bachelor and master programs. Through lectures, seminars, and student theses, you will strengthen the undergraduate program in clinical psychology, as well as the applied program in the field of face-to-face and digital psychotherapy approaches.
