The research team led by Elisabeth Roider, MD, PhD, is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Associate to become part of our dynamic team. The successful candidate will assist in exploring sun filter-induced redox instabilities and their effects on the development of skin cancer. This role requires conducting a variety of laboratory experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to scientific research efforts, particularly in the areas of dermatology and skin disorders.

The successful candidate will have a completed education as MTA/CTA or equivalent and should work with high precision, independently and flexibly. The position requires a high degree of autonomy and the capability of conducting independent research, making informed decisions, and driving the project forward without constant supervision. Hands-on experience in mammalian tissue culture, molecular biology and histology techniques is expected. Experience with fluorescence light microscopy techniques is desirable. FELASA Level B (LTK1) training and experience in animal surgery techniques are preferred. The candidate possesses excellent interpersonal skills as well as strong problem-solving and organizational capabilities. You are motivated, dynamic and dedicated team player. Experience in computer-based data handling and analysis (Excel, GraphPad Prism) is desirable. Fluency in English (spoken and written) is expected.
