The Chair of Management of Renewable Energies at HSG has established a strong track-record for combining scientific insight with real-world impact. We apply a mix of qualitative and quantitative empirical research methods to understand the decision-making of energy consumers, investors and other stakeholders, thereby contributing to the design of successful business models and policy instruments for the diffusion of low-carbon innovation.

We are looking for candidates interested in one or several of the following topics:
  • Citizen co-investment and social acceptance of renewable energy
  • Convergence of electric mobility, renewable energy and storage
  • Decentralisation of energy and climate governance
  • Emotional influences on energy-related decision-making
