About us
The World Trade Institute (WTI) at the University of Bern is a leading academic institution dedicated to studies, teaching and research in international trade and investment regulation, economic globalisation and sustainability. As a centre of excellence at the University of Bern with an international, interdisciplinary focus, we explore the interconnections between the fields of law, economics, and political science. The WTI team is looking for a student fellow, who can assist the WTI Team with marketing and communication support for its website, social media and media relations.Tasks
- Assisting with updating the website, www.wti.org
- Assisting the Communications Officer in updating CRM database
- Assisting with outreach in terms of marketing and communication tasks
- Drafting posts and creating social media content to support the recruitment of students and participants to WTI programs and courses
The salary follows the guidelines of the University of Bern and depends on the qualification of the successful candidate.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master-level student
- Students must be matriculated at a University in Switzerland, and have a valid working permit (if non-Swiss citizens)
- Fluent in English both written and oral (knowledge of German and French is considered an asset).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Familiarity with social media (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Canva is positive, but not required
- Working knowledge of a CRM tool (e.g. Salesforce) or an email marketing tool (e.g. Mailchimp) and a CMS tool is considered an asset but not required
- Willingness to learn organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to work with a team, as well as independently
