What you do here

The Supply Planner GTR/DIS is responsible for the integrated volume planning of the assigned production sites.

The holder of the position acts as one of the central links in the S&OP process.
It is expected by the function that:
  • challenges such as over- or understock are recognized and addressed early,
  • a high-quality, consolidated and rolling forecast for the demand is made available,
  • planning figures are appropriately captured in the planning application,
  • commercial assumptions are scrutinized if appropriate.
The Supply Planner collaborates very closely with the departments Demand Planning, Export & Logistics, Sales, Marketing, and Finance/Controlling.

Regular operative tasks:
  • Support of assigned production sites for supply planning and inbound logistics
  • Analysis and transfer of forecasts, budgets, and order data in compliance with the general Intercompany Guidelines to the production companies, including performance measurement
  • Provision of products on time and in full, as well as ensuring that incoming deliveries are prioritized according to inventory and sales plans
  • Preparation of inventory shortage reports and other stock reports, and distribution to relevant departments
  • Planning and implementation of process optimizations for the Supply Planning area, as well as determining root causes for inaccurate forecasts
  • Management of overstock and point of contact for inventory-related issues

Projects:
  • Working on smaller projects and initiatives to enhance the department's performance, as well as occasional involvement in cross-departmental projects

Professional background: Sound experience in methodology and principles of demand- and supply planning

Functional capabilities:
  • Holistic understanding of the different Supply Chain processes
  • Distinct knowledge in reporting systems, including advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Strong user skills in MS Office and SAP ERP
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong team player
  • Analytical and networked thinker with a solution-oriented, responsible, and precise working style
  • Open-minded, flexible, and resilient personality
Education Requirements:
Basic commercial education and/or relevant continued education

Language Requirements:
Very good German and English skills, orally and in writing
