PrecisionLab, led by Prof. Jose Garcia-Tirado, aims to develop new technology for managing diabetes and metabolic disorders through novel digital interventions such as advanced decision-support tools and automated insulin delivery.

Job purpose and responsibilities
You will work primarily on our web front-end project: a website for monitoring participants using our solutions during clinical trials. Monitoring is key for our research efforts and the website our first line of defense for identifying and correcting anomalous situations with trial participants.

As part of our software team you will:
  • Implement new features and improve the current monitoring website, including work on graphically plotting real-time participant data.
  • Together with our researchers and medical professionals, work towards improving and implementing the UI/UX.
  • Help with testing the website for future clinical trials.
Requirements
IMPORTANT: This position is only for students currently enrolled in Swiss Universities (Master programs, PH matriculation).

  • Ongoing Masters in Computer Science or related fields.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript and Git.

Nive to have:
  • Experience with React applications.
  • Experience consuming REST APIs and displaying vast amounts of data while accounting for performance.
  • Proficiency using graphical plot libraries such as ApexCharts or Visx.
  • An eye for web UI/UX is a big plus.
