What you do here

The Marketing Business Analytics Intern has a key role in the GTR Category & RGM team, located at the headquarter in Kilchberg. In our global team structure, the MBA Intern is responsible for the efficient and effective execution of central, operational tasks covering several regions and is the owner of the global RSP database and processes.
The MBA Intern is a hands-on person, who has a strong background in business & market analytics, brings good analytical thinking skills and is adapting quickly to changing environments.

In this internship, you are closely working with the Category Manager & RGM Manager and Head of Marketing in Kilchberg, and in addition will support the Regional Sales Managers around the globe in their responsibilities. You will gain insights into external performance analysis, reporting, data management and global pricing projects.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Market & Business Analysis:
  • Support in generating and analyzing the sell-out performance on a monthly basis
  • Formulation of recommendations, insights generation
  • Presentation preparation and participation within quarterly performance meetings across different geographical regions

Data Management:
  • Own data collection process and harmonization on a global basis (RSP, Promo, Sell-out)
  • Support and coordinate with external data agencies
  • Build databases and maintain them
  • Ensure high data quality throughout all processes

Pricing & Promotion:
  • Global RSP database –Establish standardized global analysis of changes, tracking and comparisons vs domestic markets and competition
  • Build understanding of FX impacts within the global environment
  • Evaluation of promotional mechanisms
  • Analysis of efficiency and effectiveness of promotions

Project support for improvement of reporting and data collection as well as ad-hoc analysis on different topics (category developments, sell-out, pricing, promotions).
