The research group of Public Economics (Prof. Beat Hintermann) of the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Basel invites applications for a PostDoc position.
Start date: May 2025 (or by agreement)
Your position
- You will be part of a dynamic research team that carries out empirical work in the area of public and environmental economics.
- The position is funded by a grant for carrying out field experiments in public transport. However, the candidate may also pursue additional research projects.
- Teaching responsibilities may be conducted in German or English.
Your profile
- You hold a PhD in Economics.
- You have a strong background in public, environmental or transport economics and a solid understanding of econometrics.
- Experience in designing and running field experiments is an asset but not a formal requirement.
- You are fluent in written and spoken English.
