Student Assistant – Data Extraction and Scraping (project-based, starting date upon agreement) (m/w/d)
Your tasks
- Develop and implement scripts to scrape internal websites and extract information from so retreived files (pdf or image)
- Ensure accurate data extraction while maintaining data privacy and compliance with any relevant data protection standards
- Document the data extraction process and manage and document troubleshooting
Your profile
- Currently enrolled in a Master's program at the University of St.Gallen
- Strong programming skills, preferably with experience in web scraping
- Preferred experience with OCR, text parsing and data extraction tools and methods
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
