Your job
- Generate significant and consistent trading profits from merchant activities across pan-European power markets
- Actively optimize risk-adjusted returns, maximizing return on VaR while strictly adhering to assigned limits (VaR, trailing stop-loss, credit exposure and liquidity constraints)
- Deliver robust fundamental analysis and market insights to support Repowers trading decisions and positioning
- Serve as a senior point of reference for junior traders, contributing to their development through coaching, review and knowledge sharing
- Work in close coordination with Risk Management and Back Office to ensure efficient credit risk management, cash collateral optimization and foreign exchange control
Your profile
- 10+ years of proprietary trading experience in Continental European power markets within a reputable trading organization
- Proven track record of generating sustainable profits across multiple market cycles
- Very strong fundamental knowledge of European power markets; Swiss market experience is a strong advantage
- Clearly profit-oriented and entrepreneurial, with sound judgment and disciplined risk management
- Highly analytical, structured and detail-focused, with a transparent and resilient trading approach
- High personal integrity, reliability and a collaborative team mindset
- University degree in technical discipline
- Languages: fluent English required; German and Italian are a strong plus
- Place of work: Poschiavo (Canton Grison). After an initial period, possibility to work from Repowers Zürich office, with regular travel to Poschiavo
