EngOps Connectivity Engineer

You ensure that our networks not only remain stable, but also become more efficient, secure and fit for the future. How you make a difference
- You are part of our committed EngOps team, apply your strengths to comprehensive operations and actively contribute to further developments.
- Together with your colleagues, you ensure that we also guarantee added value for our internal customers in our daily business.
- You play an active role and contribute your experience in the transition phase of Post2Cloud and the launch of ZeroTrust.
- You approach new technologies openly, keep an eye on the entire life cycle and support the evaluation, selection and implementation of new hardware and solutions.
- You use your expertise to assist with procurement and calls to tender for network components.
- In projects, you represent our team confidently and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
- As part of the Operation Team, you are willing to be available for on-call service 24/7.
What you have to offer
- Completion of IT training, ideally plus further education at a tertiary level (higher technical school, university of applied sciences, university), and the relevant certifications, form the basis of your profile.
- You have an in-depth knowledge of network architecture, routing and software-defined networking (SDN), and ideally experience with Cisco ACI as well.
- Know-how in network automation is a plus, as is an interest in current developments in this area.
- You are interested in the latest trends in network technologies and security concepts such as zero trust, and you actively bring these topics up within the team.
- Thanks to your strong communication skills, you can explain complex network topics in an understandable way and convey them clearly.
- You communicate well in spoken English and German, and a basic level in a second national language rounds off your profile.

We offer a fair salary of between CHF 94'400 - 109'400 per year (100% employment level), depending on experience and skills. Talented people with different skills are also welcome to apply. In such cases your salary may be slightly below or above the range
