Your Tasks and Responsibilities

Role Overview:

Reporting to the People and Culture Director, responsible for managing day-to-day HR employee lifecycle activities across our UK-wide locations. The role will lead in the efforts to reshape HR service delivery that support business performance and can grow with future needs. Collaborating with the HR team, this role will help contribute to the overall People Strategy, focusing on improving self-service, increasing automation, enhancing data, and reporting, and simplifying and standardising people processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Organisational

• Overseeing HR operations related to recruitment, onboarding, immigration, and overseas travel, pay and benefits, and offboarding.
• Streamlining HR processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, exploring routes to automate and standardise.
• Ensuring accurate HRIS and reporting to enable informed evidence-based decision-making on People priorities.
• Develop and embed a people dashboard which tracks the employee metrics that drives team performance and business outcomes.
• Monitoring and reporting on service performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Personal

• Managing and developing a small team of HR professionals to ensure high performance, a service ethos and team engagement.
• Providing excellent support to employees and managers, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues.
• Working in partnership with the payroll manager to ensure a seamless interface between your teams to deliver an end-to-end employee experience.
• Educating employees and managers on HR processes and systems, building mature self-service options, and promoting them as a cornerstone of the HR service model.

What are we looking for?

Experience:

Essential

• Experience in a similar HR Services Leadership role, with a focus on service delivery and simplification.
• Experience leading and motivating teams and stakeholders to get on-board with new ways of working.
• A demonstrated track record of improving processes and implementing HR Services best practice.
• Experience in HR Project Management, particularly in relation to HR Systems.
• Acute attention to detail to role model the highest standards of right first-time quality and a proven ability to analyse data and metrics to drive decision-making and process improvements.

Desirable

• Proficiency in HRIS systems, data management, and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with HR analytics.
• Experience with I-trent or SAP SuccessFactors would be advantageous.
• Experience of working with different sets of terms and conditions of employment.
