As a Junior Proposal Manager, you play a vital role in the end-to-end development and delivery of high-quality, competitive proposals for the North American market. Key Activities
• Manage the full lifecycle of each proposal opportunity-from receipt of the Request for Information (RFI) through to final proposal submission-ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables.
• Respond promptly and accurately to customer requests for clarification, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and responsiveness.
• Build and maintain a strong internal network across global stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the proposal process.
• Plan and manage proposal timelines, reviews, and status meetings. Drive progress with a proactive, action-oriented approach to meet all deadlines.
• Facilitate internal tender kick-off meetings with project management and cross-functional teams to align on strategy and execution.
• Assist in contract negotiations by clearly communicating customer expectations to internal stakeholders and leadership. Deliver value-based quotations tailored to customer needs.
• Act as the central point of contact for gathering inputs from departments including Operations, Procurement, Engineering, Quality & Safety, Legal, and Finance. Lead the development of cost/price calculations, sensitivity analyses, and capture strategies.
• Ensure all commercial considerations-such as currency, taxation, inflation, and other financial factors-are transparently and accurately accounted for to support both customer requirements and internal management reviews.
• Support sales and business development initiatives on an as-needed basis.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field.• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both customers and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
• Exceptional writing and editing capabilities, particularly for technical and business content.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of personal accountability and work ethic; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies.
• Experience in sales or business development roles.
• Exposure to international or cross-border project environments.
