As an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist, you are responsible for implementing and managing environmental, health, and safety programs for our organization. You will ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility, and identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks. If you are an experienced EHS Officer who wants to be part of a team that builds high quality, state of the art passenger trains, this is your career!

Your tasks

  • Develop, implement, and maintain environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures that comply with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Provide training and education to employees on safety procedures and best practices
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential hazards and risks
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Conduct risk assessments related to jobs performed (Job Hazard Analysis) and new equipment introductions
  • Record Keeping OSHA logs

Your profile

  • High School or equivalent diploma
  • 0-2 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety management
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
