Your main tasks

  • Independent performance of electrophysiological measurements (especially SEPs/MEPs) during neurosurgical procedures in the OR
  • Independent performance of extended or specialised electrophysiological measurements as part of intraoperative neuromonitoring (e.g. cranial nerve measurements) and/or willingness to learn these skills
  • To work in an interdisciplinary and interprofessional team (neurosurgery, anaesthesia, nursing, etc.)

Other activities
  • Independent logistical tasks in the area of intraoperative neuromonitoring (e.g. data management, contact with USZ medical technology)

Your profile

  • Training as an MTA, nurse, specialist in neurophysiological diagnostics or comparable professional qualification
  • Alternatively, completed studies in neuroscience or equivalent
  • Professional experience in neurophysiology and/or intraoperative neuromonitoring
  • You are able to work independently & flexibly
  • Willingness to occasionally work in the evening, but no weekend or public holiday work, no night shifts (long working hours are compensated by the hour or day)
  • Good communication skills
  • At least fluent in English, attainment of German B2 / C1 level during the course of employment desired
