DURATION: 1 year, with an option for prolongation
We have an open position for a highly motivated postdoctoral scientist for translational science in the field of Rheumatology. The research project will focus on studying underlying pathomechanisms of the Sjögren's disease, an understudied autoimmune disease with huge unmet needs.
Tasks
The candidate will take on a key role in pre-clinical research projects using single cell sequencing technologies complemented with in vitro disease modelling and using clinical samples.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, self-motivated and has a strong commitment towards biomedical basic/ translational research. Demonstrated competence to conduct experiments and analyses independently, and willingness to collaborate internally and externally are mandatory. Applicants must have a doctoral (PhD) degree or will defend their PhD within the next four months in the field of biology, biochemistry, biomedicine, or a related discipline. Candidates with experience in single cell sequencing technologies, epigenetics and working with primary human cells are especially encouraged to apply.
