Develop subseasonal forecasting approaches to improve the predictability of renewable energy generation and demand conditions in Europe
Carry out high-quality research at the intersection of subseasonal forecasting and machine learning for energy applications

Present your work at international conferences and have the opportunity to assist in teaching and to co-supervise undergraduate students

What you'll bring with you
MSc degree (or equivalent) in physics, atmospheric/geoscience, engineering, computer science, applied mathematics, or a related field
Experience in at least two of the following areas: Subseasonal or weather forecasting, programming, statistical or machine learning, data analysis
Strong analytical and programming skills (e.g., Python), fluency in English, good scientific writing, and communication skills
Self-motivated and proactive, you enjoy working with complex topics and thrive on challenges
