Your tasks

The successful ILS Manager (ILS - integrated logistic support) will have the following responsibilities:

  • Overall lead of ILS Project team in vehicle delivery projects with all aspects from customer interaction to engineering and documentation
  • Analysing requirements, designing and developing solutions and strategies for the product from the bid phase up to the delivery and successfully completed validation phase
  • Ensure implementation of the ILS plan together with the project team
  • Coordinate the project with the production sites in Switzerland and Europe
  • Ensure that the project is are delivered within budget and timescale
  • In this role you will report to the centralized Engineering Service department in Switzerland with strong interactions to local organizations

Your profile

  • Proven experience in the application of ILS methods and tools to large scale complex programmes
  • Strong understanding of railway industry and technique
  • Engineering degree ideally focused on Systems Engineering or Integrated Logistics Engineering (or similar) and/or Business Administration
  • Experience in maintenance of vehicles or in an equivalent technical service department
  • Good written / oral communication in English. Knowledge of Swedish is an important advantage. Knowledge of German is an advantage
  • Selfstarter and team player with the high ability to take ownership, entrepreneurial spirit
  • Results-oriented with a positive attitude
