In addition to an excellent master's degree in economics (or a related field) strong quantitative and coding skills are important. The candidate's research interests should be in (causal) machine learning as well as in an applied field like labour, health, or sports economics.

Your place of work

University of St.Gallen

The positions will start on a mutually agreed date in 2023. The successful candidate will start her/his academic career in an excellent PhD programme (gpef.unisg.ch) and participate in the research and teaching activities of the vibrant econometrics team guided by Professor Michael Lechner.
