Your profile

  • Applicants must be students at the University of St.Gallen with a strong interest in economics / finance and data science
  • Good knowledge of Tableau or similar data visualization software / interest and willingness to learn such software
  • Good knowledge of WordPress
  • Good knowledge of R
  • Knowledge of / Interest to learn Python
  • Strong motivation to support empirical economic analysis around the Covid-19 crisis

For the project Monitoring Consumption Switzerland we are looking to fill a part-time position (1-2 days/week).

You will be part of the Monitoring Consumption Switzerland project team, led by Prof. Martin Brown and Prof. Matthias Fengler. In this project we are using daily payment data to shed light on consumer spending in Switzerland and how this is impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.
